The shipping operations of CMC include the anticipation, preparation and delivery of cocoa to buyers abroad. The shipping department also prepares the appropriate invoices and other documentations, out of which cocoa proceeds are received. Coordination of freight services and related port activities forms part of CMC’s shipping operations.
Flexibility and the ability to meet shipping targets, constitute a key strength of the market. The shipping department is transparent in its dealings with stakeholders and encourages information sharing.
