Dr. William Bransah is a results-driven Chartered Accountant and seasoned finance professional with over two decades of progressive leadership within the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) ecosystem. He brings deep expertise in financial accounting and management, financial analysis and reporting, internal auditing, project management, and strategic leadership, with a proven track record of driving business growth, improving profitability, and leading cross-functional teams across multicultural environments. In his current role as Deputy Director of Finance at Cocoa Marketing Company (CMC) Ghana Limited, he draws on a distinguished career that has spanned senior positions including Deputy Director of Audit at COCOBOD, Head of Internal Audit at Bunso Cocoa College (BCC), and Head of Finance at both the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana (CRIG) and Cocoa Clinic. Dr. Bransah holds a PhD in Project Financial Engineering from the Business University of Costa Rica (UNEM), an International MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the City University of Applied Sciences, Bremen, Germany, an MBA in Finance from GIMPA, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors at both the global and Ghana chapter levels.
